Zinancial API — Quick Introduction

Welcome to the Zinancial API. This documentation provides a simple, consistent interface to query account data, create transactions, and retrieve reports for integration with your frontend or backend services.

Purpose

This API is designed to be intuitive and predictable for developers building Zinancial features such as balances, transaction histories, payments, and reporting.

Key principles

  • Simplicity: endpoints follow RESTful conventions and use JSON for requests and responses.
  • Security: all endpoints require authentication (see Authentication section). -Stability: versioning ensures backward-compatible changes where possible.

Base URL

All requests are made to a single base URL. Example: https://api.yourservice.com/v1.

Authentication

The API uses bearer tokens. Include an Authorization: Bearer <token> header with every request. Tokens expire — refresh using the provided auth endpoints.

Common response format

Successful responses return JSON objects. Errors use a consistent envelope with status, code, and message fields to simplify client handling.

Rate limits & throttling

To ensure fair usage, requests are subject to rate limits. Clients receiving 429 Too Many Requests should back off and retry after the Retry-After interval.

Versioning

Version your integrations against the path (e.g., /v1/) so upgrades to the API can be introduced without breaking existing clients.

Error handling

Check HTTP status codes first; parse the JSON error body for machine-readable code values and human-readable message for display or logging.

Getting help

If you encounter issues or need clarification, contact the API support team with request examples, timestamps, and the request-id header returned by the API.
